Free access to energy infrastructure
Dear delegates, destinguished
chairs,
At this moment, more than 700 million
people are sitting in the cold and dark night unable to turn on the light, the heat or even
running water.
Due to lack of reliable energy
infrastructure, none of the Sub-Saharan African nations can develop its
industry and integrate into global economy or provide its citizens with any elactricity.
All related investments done until today,
concentrated mainly in using fossil fuel power.
Such investments are too small and expensive
to operate and are the reason for the current situation.
In order to change this cruel reality and
save those countries, we must look for a new solution – a new energy source
with a low cost and reliable fuel supply.
Fortunately, not only this kind of energy
exists, but it is also very much available and ready for mining and enrichment
all over Africa.
Dear delegates, the name of the game is
simply – nuclear power, because Africa has about 20% of the world's
uranium reserves. The Islamic Republic of Iran has come up with a revolutionary
UN initiatives which
will put an end to this unbearable neglect once and for all.
The plan is effective and simple – UN nuclear
power stations will be built and activated all over SubSaharan
Africa creating an electric network providing electricity to the countries in
need.
Iran is willing to lead and promote this
project by financing major parts of it and sharing its enrichment plant and
sources in Nataz.
Iran is also anxious to cooperate on this
initiative with other nuclear technology world leading countries which can
contribute and benefit from this project.
Ladies & Gentlemen, this is not a dream – this is a vision.
Not only we can make scientific history but
we can save thousands of human lifes.
So let's unite our forces together and make
it no longer a vision but better reality.

Dear delegates, honorable
chairs,
Those currencies were updated
on January 22nd, 2009. All three countries are part of the Middle
East. The US Dollar is yet to return to its former value, before the great
crisis. And yet – the Middle Eastern countries have coins that worth even less!
Forming a stock exchange bank
is necessary in order to help the nations of the Middle East strengthen
their economy.
All countries in the Middle
East are blessed with resources – of that kind or another – but only
trade with other countries, although they all have the same interest in
strengthening the economy and all suffer from lack of certain resources
– that can be found on the neighboring countries. –
Why? Well, that’s the
problem. A conflict has existed in the Middle East for years – a conflict that
lasts until today, and prevents the countries from trading and assisting each
other.
A stock exchange market will
force the warring countries to cooperate, and stop the never-ending conflict.
Delegates, as part of the UN,
it is our countries’ duty to assure that peace and prosperity will last in
the world. Do the right deed, and support the stock exchange market, to end
another conflict threatening to disturb the desired peace!
Turkish farmers lost over 30%
of their crop production. About 43% of the Turkish provinces are declared
eligible of financial aid. Farmers have left their land, and went somewhere
else hoping to find a different work. A drought similar to this one on scale
has never been seen in the past years. It is so hot, that rivers and lakes are
at risk! The lack of water is not the only problem. 19% of the Turkish energy
production is hydro based!
Dear delegates, distinguished
chairs, as part of the UN we have an obligation to help these countries.
The 1982 agreement between
turkey, Syria, and Iraq demands flow of 500 cubic meters per second. But it was
made in 1982, and is irrelevant today.
We must form a new agreement,
one that fits for the “rainy” days of the tough drought.
The new agreement will
include a new water amount to be passed, water quality, and obviously -
punishment if it will not be respected.
Forming a new and better
agreement will lead the area to future co-operation, and help maintain the
political harmony in the area.
Fellow
delegates, esteemed chairs.
South America is very rich in
resources. Unfortunately, it was struck by drugs and poverty. The top 3
producers of cocaine are in South America, and most other countries are used as
a connection to the international global market, and illicit trade of weapons
is common in the region.
Only one country in South
America is stable – Brazil. Without any outside assistance, Brazil can’t
do much in order to improve the situation. However, if we will open a South
American development bank, Brazil and other rich countries can invest money in
order to help the other countries.
Workplaces will be built,
lowering the unemployment rate. Money will be invested in the war on drugs, and
thanks to the assistance – the governments will stabilize and the corruption
will be prevented. The resources will be dug and used, and in recognition for
their help, the donating countries can have a percentage of the mines’
production. The countries will be able to force their authority in their territory,
and drug dealing as well as illegal weapon smuggling will cease.
All these wonderful things
will happen – but only if you will do the right deed. Support the South
American development bank for a safer future!

CHILD ABUSE CRISIS IN EAST ASIA – THE REPULIC OF
AUSTRIA
14 year old Marife from the Philippines is not a virgin from the age of
7. She lives in a brothel and serves up to 22 men a day. None of us in the room
could understand what she and many other millions of children are going
through.
In the past few years different NGO's such as UNICEF and WHO
have improved and decreased the amount of abused children per year, by using
the practice of social aid.
However, since NGO's are non governmental
organizations there isn’t any law enforcement involved in the case, or at least
not enough. That is why we have united here.
In fact , 2 crucial elements are
needed to save millions of children:
1)
Law Enforcement.
2)
Social aid and
funds.
And each country in this room that has the combination
of the mentioned categories in its country is welcomed to join and help together. That’s all it takes in order to
save millions of children from being abused as
we speak.
But how
can we forget
the will and determination that should be strengthened in each on of us. – not necessary
Let's
remember John head's (who is he?) words:
Children
are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.
Delegates, unfortunately for
the countries in East Asia there might not be a future because of no living
messages ( I mean, children) to be sent.
So let's make a big difference together because the
living messages are calling us for help.
All along child abuse existed and public international
organizations such as WHO, UNICEF and more achieved great progress. They
improved the situation of child abuse in EAST ASIA with the help of the simple
combination that suits the west world. The combination of law
enforcement and social aid. But we still need the insistence and
determination to continue and more important to expand our resources, aid and
help. For completing the mission overcoming and defeating this crisis for the
sake of millions in EAST ASIA

Kashmir
Conflict
The loss of the lives of 47,000
kashmirians proves us that the conflict over Kashmir
has been going for too long.
It is about time for the UN
to resolve this merciless dispute once and for all.
Libya is extremely concerned
about the freedom and well-being of Muslims in the Kashmir region, especially
under the occupation of India and China.
They suffer from state-made discrimination and are not free to practice
religious traditions.
In addition, the government
of India in the past made it hard on the negotiations between the different
sides by equating the uprising people of Kashmir with terrorists.
India has to accept the
legitimacy of the kashmirians and must show
responsibility towards the prosperity of Muslim people in the area.
Simultaneously, Libya calls all
member states to support and fond a socioeconomic advancement framework for
Kashmir, which development is clearly being delayed due to the continuing
dispute.
Ladies and gentlemen,
the people of Kashmir have suffered enough.
It is time for us to relieve their suffering in order to give them a chance for
a better future.
Let’s return this territory
to its one and only rightful owner – the people of Kashmir.
Policy statement 5
Ladies and
gentlemen,
Think about
an 11 years old girl, that instead of going to school must work for more than
12 hours a day, and at the end of the day, barely gets a 2$ salary.
Think about
the little boy, which instead of playing football with his friends, must make
our shoes under terrible conditions.
Unfortunately,
today nobody cares about these children.
TV campaigns
and good lawyers are enough (?) to deprive their happy future.
Ladies and
gentlemen, here you can see the ugly side of globalization.
When you buy
your new NIKE shoes that made in Indonesia, you actually say yes to the
globalization and hurt the very young
Indonesian children. We can't let this happen!
We call the
nations and the United Nations Children Fund to establish an organization that
will relate seriously to the issue of employing children in developing
countries including their salary, the working
hours, the
minimum age as well as to their education . This organization will also be responsible
for monitoring these conditions .
Remember! These children might be
our future doctors, scientists or lawyers.
Don't
forsake them!

Agenda
The issues regarding the Kurds’ country are most important .
In Turkey alone more than 40,000 people have already died
and more are about to die because of fighting between the Kurds and the Turkish
authorities.
The 1st most important issue is reuniting
Cyprus. The capital, Nicosia, is separated by a wall. Let's not re-live the events that happened in
Berlin when it was separated
The legal status of Tibet is the last issue because it
involves only two countries, China and Tibet.
So? Not convincing enough
Policy Statement
Ladies and Gentlemen, the 3rd
world war is knocking at our door, and the creation of a Kurdish state in the
Middle East is the worst action that could happen in this region these days.True, the Kurds have been demanding for 30 years for
their own state ,however fulfilling this demand will
cause more trouble to the region:
1)
There will be more blood.
2)
There will be immigration.
3)
There will be happy
terrorists.
First,
Iran’s delegate believes that a loss territory from 5 countries to create the
Kurdish state will cause conflicts between the new state and the countries who lost their territory. This is already a war between 6
countries. And that’s not all! One of the countries is Turkey. Because Turkey
is a friend in NATO, if the Kurd country will fight back, NATO
countries will be have to join the war. This action will cause a world wide war
The second reason is: there will be an uncontrolled
immigration. When India was divided by the British to India and Pakistan, many
families were split between the 2 sides of the new border. This fact caused
immigration of 4 million people and 3.5 million survivors.
The numbers of the Kurds in the
countries that will suffer from such immigration is huge: more than 25 million. Relying
on what had happened in
India, more than half
million will die.
The third reason was: there will
be happy terrorists. The PKK is a Kurdish organization and in the opinion of
several countries is a terroristic organization. The PKK have been fighting in
Turkey for more than 25 years and more than 40 thousand have died during this
fighting. The objective of the organization is to get a Kurdish country. Creation
of a Kurdish country will be a surrounder to
terrorists, an unacceptable act in most of the world.
The delegate of Iran has just
proven that a Kurdish country mustn’t be created because of war, immigration
and terrorism. The Islamic Republic of Iran calls you: don’t let the Kurds have
a country or the 3rd world war will start in the middle east.

Policy
statement - Global coordination for disaster relief
In times of trouble, we often find ourselves
helpless and lonely. These feeling, whether it is true or not, frequently lead
us to mistaken actions and failure. Both of them could be prevented, if only
someone else would have helped us.
When a natural disaster strikes none of us is
able to deal with it by himself. It is our duty to
unite the efforts of all nations in order to help (to) those who are in
trouble.
The Islamic Republic of Iran calls the UN to
establish an international organization, whose aim will be improving global
coordination for disaster relief among nations.
The organization will function under the following goals:
A. Define instructions for action during a
natural disaster for each nation. The instruction shall be based on the
historical experience of other countries. The organization must certify that the population is aware of the instructions
and will be willing to act according to them when needed to. We learn from the
past that in occasions as the 1999 earthquake in turkey, an organized plan
could have prevented massive loss of lives.
B. Create relief
programs based on cooperation between countries. If all the countries (will)
take part in the disaster relief of another country, the relief will be much
better. When the Tsunami stroke South Asia in 2004, the slow, ineffective
mobilization damaged the disaster relief process, and caused slower recovery of
countries like India, Indonesia and Thailand.
When it comes to natural
disasters, no one is immune. It is our responsibility to unify our efforts in
order to improve disaster relief and save lives.
We call ourselves the United
Nations – let's use this chance to prove that we are really united.
